2| Critical Mass
The age old tradition of taking over the streets on two
wheels comes to its culmination with the ultra-festive
Halloween ride. Costume your bike and yourself and meet at
Union Sq., Washington Sq. or Tompkins Sq. at 7pm sharp. The
best costume wins a “get out of jail free” card.

Critical Mass ride. Donate $5 or more at the door and get
music from Rude Mechanical Orchestra and DJ Suggested D. 49

Saturday |__________________________
1| Black Label Bike Kill
Guerilla bike bludgeoning at its best, the annual Bike Kill
features tall bike jousting, two wheel orgy, a dirty
mattress and an elegant mix of cheap liquor and good natured
violence. We like it rough.

2| Cynth-O-Matic
We met Cynthia von Buhler a few years ago on the streets of
the Meat Packing district and became a massive fan of her
kinetic sculpture. Saturday is the last day of her latest
show and is worth a visit if you like human detritus and
coin mechanisms.

3| Thomas Beale :: Honey Space
Our close friend and astonishingly talented wood artist
brings this sculpture show opening/Halloween party at the
Tucker Robbins Gallery in LIC. Dj’s provide dance music,
Micky Western and The Jugtown pirates provide the Vermont
back-woods-funk. Plus exquisite woodland costumes by C-Spot
Designs. The show is free and so are drinks but you *must*
bring a piece of natural found wood in order to be admitted.

1| The Ash Masquerade
Have you felt it? Our nation is cursed. From the second
hurricane to the second war to the fall of the second tower,
our nation is cursed with fiasco. We have only seconds left.
October 31st, we save ourselves.
We’ve constructed four demon effigies representing the
curses that plague this nation: greed, patriarchy,
complacency and the mass-media-whore. These demons will
do battle. These demons will control you. These demons
will be excised, in the street through a renegade ritual
following the parade.
Expect music and monkey chants, fire and brimstone,
brown-bag-liquor and back-pack-beats, plus surprises we
can’t mention. To be a part of this ritual, or to watch
the street spectacle after the parade visit our website
for full details:
http://www.concreterituals.com/
or call: (212) 502-7970 or (212) 696 8999
after 7pm on Halloween night.
